    This tool seeks to address the problem that sometimes relevant information is hidden, being categorized under a non-canonical or non-authoritative name or in unfamiliar terms. By using Freebase's aliases, we can improve precision and recall for social media search.

    Proposes research to understand more clearly the relationship between the adoption of ICT systems in education and teacher networks.

    Proposes online tool to support students in the writing process outside of the classroom. Connects students to classmates as well as to a suite of customizable tools to help students master grade-level appropriate writing for specifc genres.

  • ClassPace: a visual feedback system for classrooms[pdf], December 2008

    A classroom feedback system in order to improve instructor effectiveness by providing real-time feedback of student perception of the pace of a lesson.
